Steps to Success

Before our consult, take a moment to consider: What are your short term and long-term goals? What are your general expectations for private lessons? Clarifying and sharing input now, and along the way, ensure we are on the same page and that you will enjoy the journey.

After your consult, I’ll send the link to my private booking calendar (payment is made through a secure server).

Please read the Reschedule/Cancel Policy to the right BEFORE you book!

What to Expect? Each scheduled session is 100% focused on your growth as a dancer.

You may even record your lesson!

We will finish with a plan that keeps you growing at home.

Do you offer feedback between lessons?
I’m happy to provide brief “5 min feedback” scenarios. For more complex feedback or in-depth video analysis, we’ll cover it during your next private lesson so you can get the most out of our time together.

How often should I book private lessons?
That depends on your goals! Some dancers prefer occasional fine-tuning technique or preparing for a performance, while others schedule regular sessions for consistent progress.

Reschedule/Cancellation Policy

When you book a lesson, pre-payment is required since I'm reserving that time for you. I offer the following compromise on reschedules:

  • At least 48hrs ahead? Reschedule within 4-6 weeks

  • 24-48 hrs? A credit of 50% is applied to your reschedule

  • Less than 24hr or “no show”? NO credit unless true emergency.

  • Repeated reschedules/no shows? I reserve the right to decline private bookings.

*If I need to cancel OR there is inclement weather, we will reschedule a make-up date with full credit.

Love Choreography?

Here are some ideas:

Choreography Assistance: I can assist you with YOUR choreography creation during our private lesson slot. We will video your progress each time as a helpful tool. Timeline is totally dependent on your skill level, outside practice, and performance quality expectations.

Premiered Choreography: Choreography which has been taught to students in class/workshops. You will learn the material at our private lessons with a minimum of FOUR lessons required (package discount applicable after first series). Additional lessons may be necessary depending on your skill level, length of song, the complexity of choreography, and your outside practice. Video progress is provided at end of each lesson for practice in between lessons.

Custom Choreography: (VERY dependent on my schedules) A new choreo where I'll factor in your song/prop requests. A deposit is required - $30 per each minute of music (4 min song $120). Next, private lessons (@ 6 lessons + w/ no bulk discount). I retain rights to teach this choreography to other students in the future. Video progress at end of each lesson for at-home practice.

"Exclusive" choreography: (VERY dependent on my schedule) You choose song & it will not be taught to other students. $50 per min of music (upfront) PLUS cost of private lessons required for achieving performance-level readiness (@8 lessons). Video progress taken at end of each lesson.

IMPORTANT EXTRAS:

1) All practice video is for student ONLY. Video material is NOT to be shared with others. I generously share/allow video for you to practice with at home. Please do not abuse this gift by giving away my material to others.

2) Please ensure there is plenty of time to learn my choreography before taking it on stage. This is to ensure you are performance-ready as dancing is about more than just remembering movements in front of an audience. You want to share your best! Also, you are representing ME on the stage when using my material. I want you to succeed and make the best impression for both our sake's. Also,
please remember to give me credit for my choreography/training in intros (if option) or social media.
