“Dance, I hope you dance (dance)
I hope you dance (time is a wheel in constant motion)
I hope you dance (always rolling us along)
I hope you dance (tell me who wants to look back on their years)
I hope you dance (and wonder where those years have gone)”

— Lee Ann Womack, “I Hope You Dance”

You’re invited… Celebrate your growth as a dancer!

From the studio, to the stage! Are you ready to perform with us at the next McKinney Bellydance group performance?

Haflas are bellydance community shows where dancers (of all levels) come together to support each other & share their love of the art.

Level 1 & 2 students usually perform a recently-learned class choreography to show off their hard work.

My Level 2 dancers, Troupe Raqsat Al Jamal, also perform at public community & cultural events. Level 1 students are often invited when the show includes L1 choreographies. Whether you dance one song or several, public shows are memorable & lots of fun!

Visit the event(s) below and thoroughly read the details to see if an upcoming event is a good fit for you. If so, follow the steps to participate!
